Job DescriptionThe Loadier Monitor/General Laborer works under minimal supervision at a customer site preparing tractor trailers to receive waste loads and overseeing the proper loading of non-hazardous waste onto tractor trailers. This is a 3rd shift position, typically working Wednesday through Saturday 8 pm to 6:30 am.Monitor the flow of waste being loaded inside tractor trailer.Instruct Driver when to move the tractor trailer to ensure evenly distributed loading of trailer.Complete log entries, recording times, weights, activities, and staff details.Responsible for maintaining clean work area by sweeping and power washing trailer interior and surrounding bay(s) as needed.Place plastic liners inside empty trailers prior to loading of waste.Transport delivered liners to storage area.Follow all health and safety and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures.Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.QualificationsBasic Required Qualifications: Willingness and ability to work a variable schedule which may include holidays and weekends (scheduled in advance)Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, etc.Ability to climb stairs repeatedly throughout workdayWilling and able to work in all climate conditionsAbility to bend, stand, and traverse uneven surfacesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in environmental disposalAbility to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkersAbility to follow directions or instructionsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasionAbility to work independently without immediate supervisionAbility to use a computer to communicate, create, and access informationAdditional InformationClean Earth offers competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans starting on the first day of employment; paid time off, wellness benefits, employee discount program, tuition assistance, and a 401k with company matching. We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or genetics.
